Twin Wall Flue
Twin Wall insulated flue pipe is used as a Chimney when there is no existing chimney available. It is used for the installation of various appliances such as wood burners, stoves and boilers.
The Twin wall consists of two walls (layers) and between the inner and outer layer there is a layer of insulation, usually high density rock wool. This helps contain the heat within the flue and protects any surrounding combustible materials, thus reducing the risk of a fire.
The pipe carries the gases away from the heating appliance and out of the property.
